The wonderful Simon Says are putting together a series of short videos to help children they would usually be seeing through their support groups.

The first book to be featured is Love Will Never Die.

I have never heard anyone read my work before so this was quite an experience. Debbie reads the books so beautifully; I got quite emotional!

Take a look for yourself here:

Simon Says are a Hampshire based child bereavement charity registered in 2001.

“The need for support in Hampshire is astonishing.  It is estimated that each year, around 400 parents die in the county, leaving around 690 dependent children (aged 0-17). Overall it is estimated that 4370* children and young people (5-16 years) in Hampshire have been bereaved of a parent or sibling at some point in their childhood (*source: childhoodbereavementnetwork.org.uk).”
