1 in 10 children in the UK have a diagnosable mental health condition

We have recently launched a new initiative that allows us to give our titles to schools and charities for free!

With all of our books being therapeutic stories, covering such topics as bereavement, they have been described as a “much needed resource” in supporting children’s mental health. With schools and charities struggling for funding, we have reached out to companies to sponsor the books, enabling us to distribute them at no cost to the recipients.

Last week we confirmed our first sponsor, MAA ( previously known as the Marine Advertising Agency), who kindly donated enough money to offer books to 17 schools across Gosport. Today Clare delivered our first donations to Grange Junior School and Elson Junior School just in time for Christmas.

We intend to continue this good work into 2020 with at least two more sponsors already lined up. Our dream is to spread this across the whole of the UK getting these books into every school!

If you would like to get involved in this new scheme (maybe through your company’s Corporate Social Responsibility Policy) and donate some books yourself, please contact Amy at amy@cskidsbooks.com to find out more.
