  1. Steph Fox

I purchased a copy and my step son absolutely loves it. He likes the fact it’s a little interactive and he can use the tissues on hard day’s and then write his feelings in different sections. Also some great tips in dealing with a parent being away and counting down the days. Written very well for him to understand. Thank you

  2. Laura wright

I bought this book for my son and daughter to help with when there daddy is away. I found the words really touch all of us. Is beautifully written for me and the kids to share together. Every time the hubby is away we get the book out and read together. I would recommend this book to anyone who has a dad/husband who goes away in any job.

  3. Susan Palmer

I purchased this for my friends grandson, as his daddy is away in the services. A beautiful book with thoughtful additions and activities in the text. So glad I made the purchase.

  6. Director at a National Forces Charity

A very welcome addition to the resources available to Armed Forces families, and the schools that support them, ‘Sometimes’ explores the complex feelings experienced by young children and families during periods of separation and deployment. It includes helpful activities and ideas for children, presented in a simple and accessible way, with rhyming text and colourful illustrations.
