‘As part of this year’s Children’s Mental Health Week I want to share with you some wonderful books that have been written to help children with certain emotional situations.‘
Today’s focus is on Jilly Moss who self-published her first book in June 2020. The book introduces Frankie, the miniature sausage dog, and his world of adventure.
The book is written from Frankie’s perspective as he tries to understand all about Covid and social-distancing. This is a brilliantly fun way to explain everything to younger children. Click on the image above to learn more.
Why Jilly?
I was introduced to Jilly through family as she had just started writing children’s books and wanted some advice on how to publish. We had a fabulous chat on the phone and have messaged a number of times since.
Jilly has such a lovely way with words when writing and her illustrations are fabulous!
She illustrates her own work and has more stories up her sleeve for future publication. To follow her journey, head over to Facebook.com/theadventuresoffrankiesausage/.
